Ever wonder the difference between principle and opinion?
Principle – A fixed rule, method or practice. An accepted or professed rule of action or conduct, general law or truth from which others are derived.
Opinion – A sentiment, view for one’s conclusion about something. An opinion is a belief or judgement that falls short of absolute conviction, certainty, or positive knowledge; it is a conclusion that certain facts or ideas are probably true or likely to prove so. ~ Dictionary
We all have our own principles and opinions, inherit from parents, taught by teachers, and somehow influenced by others. But what really matters now is from whom we get it. Opinions from famous scholars or principles from God’s word itself? 😉
May God’s principle over apparel convicts every women to practice modesty and purity, and not able to forget it by generating their own opinions derived from the world full of lust and selfishness.
