ღ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ~ Philippians 4:8 ♡
When you hear the word “modest”, what comes to your mind?
Ladies nowadays think modesty is being too decent (reserved), moderate (humble) and wholesome (pure), which ironically, most women do not dress like one. Why? Simply because the present fad persuade us that being “modest” is also corny, granny and weirdo.
And because we always want to be ATTRACTIVE, ACCEPTED, and ACKNOWLEDGED. We follow world’s leading without thinking the consequences behind it. Forgetting the TRUTH about PRINCIPLES, and easily BLINDED by a mere OPINION of others, and of the world.
Modesty is a preserved beauty. Do not fall on your infirmities, but with sobriety, look after God’s sovereignty. 😉
ღ In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array ~ 1 Timothy 2:9
